LODI -- The Boosters of Boys & Girls Sports, an all-volunteer group that has organized and backed youth sports in Lodi for 47 years, donated $20,000 Wednesday, Aug. 15 to the Save the Grape Bowl fund.
The donation boosts the amount of money donated for Grape Bowl rehabiliation to $80,000.
The Grape Bowl, a Depression-era stadium, hosts local youth and high school football games, high school graduations and other sports programs. The stadium is in need of more than $1 million in repairs. For more |
