Temperatures are expected to top 100° every day this week in the Central Valley. Hot temperatures create a situation in which heat illnesses are possible. Drink plenty of fluids... stay in an air-conditioned room... stay out of the sun... and check up on relatives and neighbors. As a service to our residents, the City of Lodi has made rooms available at Hutchins Street Square for those in need of relief from the heat. The Pisano Room is open to the public and stocked with books, board games, and water during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As always, the Senior Center is open to Senior Citizens with a multitude of services and activities. The service will continue until the heat spell breaks and temperatures return to normal.
