The beach at Lodi Lake Park will be closed to swimmers at least until Thursday because of high bacteria levels recently found in the lake water.
Results of water samples taken Monday will determine when the beach reopens for swimming. Bacteria counts in last week's samples exceeded the limits set by public health officials.
The wading pool near the beach will remain open for public use.
Normal public swim hours are 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Admission is $3 for adults and $1.50 for children ages 3-17. |
