Konradt "Rad" Bartlam will serve as Lodi's interim city manager beginning May 8, and until the Lodi City Council chooses a full-time successor to departing City Manager Blair King.
The City Council approved Bartlam's contract at a special meeting Tuesday by a 5-0 vote.
Bartlam has been Lodi's community development director for 11 of the last 14 years. He worked from 1996 to 2005, left for other professional opportunities, and returned on a part-time basis in 2008. He has 25 years of municipal planning experience, and most recently managed the comprehensive update to Lodi's General Plan, adopted on April 7. |
