A draft version of the updated City of Lodi Housing Element document is available for public review and comment (Download a copy by clicking here).
The document is the last piece of the City's General Plan update, which was adopted by the City Council on April 7. The State of California requires cities to produce a Housing Element every five to eight years. The City's previous Housing Element was produced in 2003.
Lodi's Housing Element describes the city's existing housing stock and what types -- from single-family to multi-family units -- are required for Lodi to provide its fair share of the region's housing needs, as defined by the State.
