Child Safety Seat Inspection Clinic

The National Highway Traffic Safety Association reports that nearly 73% of child safety restraints are misused.  To assist the community in the proper use of child restraints the Lodi Police Department will offer a free Child Safety Seat Inspection Clinic on Thursday, June 24, 2004 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lodi Lake. 

At the clinic technicians will inspect child safety seats to ensure they are the proper size for the child.  You are encouraged to bring your children so the safety seat can be adjusted for a proper fit.  Adults will receive hands-on instruction on installing their child safety seat in the vehicle. 

Each inspection and installation will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.  Safety Seats will be inspected on a first come bases.
